84 year old LAMDA alumnus and Fulbright Scholar Ted van Griethuysen has released a fascinating book, What is Shakespeare?

Since graduating from LAMDA in 1957 Ted has had a long acting career, learning plenty about Shakespeare along the way. His varied career includes performing at the Globe in San Diego, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as well as working for thirty-two years, as an affiliated artist with Michael Kahn's Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC.

Ted currently teachers master classes at Manchester Municipal University in the UK and at the Shakespeare Academy in Stratford, CT.
