• Listen to Adam Hugill in a new audio adaptation of Sleeping Beauty created in collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra, now available on Audible. 
• Watch Sam Claflin in the trailer for Peaky Blinders ahead of its sixth and final series later this year.
• The new series of Call The Midwife, featuring Megan Cusack, has begun airing on Sundays on BBC One, following the Christmas special in December. Catch up now on BBC iPlayer. 
• The Girl Before, starring David Oyelowo and Bert Seymour, is now available on BBC iPlayer. 
• Catch up with Doctor Who’s New Year’s Day special, which starred Aisling Bea, on BBC iPlayer. 
• The first trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his role, has been released. Watch it now. 
• Benedict Cumberbatch can also be seen in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, now in UK cinemas. 
• Four Lives, starring Roberts Emms, George Asprey, Daniel Ryan and Samuel Barnett, is airing from 3 January on BBC One, and is now available to watch in full on BBC iPlayer. 
• Alice Wood is currently Stage Manager for Cratchit, running at Park Theatre until 8 January. 
• Alexandra Faye Braithwaite is currently the Sound Designer & Composer on Tom’s Midnight Garden, which also stars Rose Basista. The show is playing at Theatre by the Lake until 15 January. 
• Watch the trailer for the second season of Raised by Wolves, which will star Abubakar Salim, Selina Jones and James Harkness. 
• Tingying Dong is currently providing sound design for Folk, playing at Hampstead Theatre until 5 February. 
• David Suchet’s solo show Poirot and More is playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre between 4 – 22 January. 
• The Da Vinci Code begins its UK tour on 10 January, with Lizzie Powell providing lighting design. 
• Aoife Kennan can be seen in The 4th Country, playing at Park Theatre from 12 January – 5 February, with Tabitha Piggott as Production Manager. 
• Almost Adult, created and performed by Charlotte Anne-Tilley (LAMDA Foundation Diploma, 2018), is playing at The Space from 13 – 15 January. The show will be directed by Beth Wilson (MA Directing, 2020), with assistance from Imogen Mackie Walker (BA (Hons) Professional Acting, 2020). 
• The 355, featuring Raphael Acloque, will be released in cinemas on 14 January. 
• Harry Melling stars in The Tragedy of Macbeth, available on Apple TV+ from 14 January. 
• Watch the trailer for Book of Love, starring Sam Claflin, before its release next month.
• Tinuke Craig is curating For the Culture: Celebrations of Blackness at the Lyric Hammersmith from 28 – 30 January, which launches the theatre’s 2022 season. 
• Tom Riley is starring in comedy thriller series, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, released on Netflix on 28 January. 

Things to look forward to 

• Filming begins soon for director and writer James Helsing’s next film, Martinez, Margaritas and Murder! 
• This February, Toby Stephens will be starring in The Forest at Hampstead Theatre. 
• Quelin Sepulveda has joined the cast of Amazon Prime’s Good Omens for its upcoming second season. 
• Next month, Gianna Kiehl will be producing Us, a new play running at the White Bear Theatre. 
• From 10 March – 2 April, Alexandra Faye Braithwaite will be the sound designer for Kes at Octagon Theatre. 

Latest news 

• Congratulations to the LAMDA alums who received nominations at the What’s On Stage Awards, including Henry Lewis, Ben Daniels, Richard Armitage, Hugh Coles, Nathaniel Parker and Jonathan Sayer in the acting categories. Rebecca Frecknall has been nominated for Best Direction for Cabaret. Mischief Theatre’s The Play That Goes Wrong was nominated for Best West End Show and Magic Goes Wrong was nominated for Best New Play. 
• Brian Cox has been nominated at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice TV Awards for his role in drama series Succession. 
• Benedict Cumberbatch has received nominations for Best Actor at the Golden Globes and the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards for his role in The Power of the Dog. 
• Aisling Bea has been shortlisted for Best TV Situation Comedy at the Writers Guild of Great Britain Awards for This Way Up series 2.  
• Congratulations to Claudine Toutoungi, whose poetry collection Two Tongues has won the Ledbury Munthe Prize for Second Collections. 
• God Squad, which was co-written by Barney Fishwick and starred Barney, Lili Miller and Helena Antoniou, has been shortlisted for Best Scripted Comedy (Longform) at the BBC Audio Drama Awards.
