The American Friends of LAMDA were delighted to host a group to see John Lithgow in the new play Hillary and Clinton by Lucas Hnath and directed by Joe Mantello. 

As described by Ben Brantley in the New York Times “Hillary and Clinton” features ‘an excellent John Lithgow as the male half of this power couple’. Hillary Clinton is played superbly by Laurie Metcalf. The play evoked much discussion, particularly when John joined guests for post-show drinks at Joe Allen’s New York. 

John Lithgow (The Crown) graduated from LAMDA in 1969 and was a Fulbright scholar.
