• Stephen Hagan and Ozioma Whenu star in the fourth season of You, now available on Netflix.
• On 18 February, Katie Matsell featured in Safety Zone at Golden Goose Theatre.
• Funny Woman, starring Tom Bateman and Alistair Petrie, is now airing on Sky.
• Michelle Bonnard stars in the new series of Unforgotten, now airing on ITV.
• Bert Seymour stars in The Diplomat, airing on Alibi from 28 February.
• Emmanuel Olusanya is part of the cast of Phaedra at the National Theatre, showing until 8 April.
• Production & Technical Arts graduate Emily Baxter is currently working on improv show Avocado at Barons Court Theatre.
• Dominic Cooper is now starring in The Gold, airing on BBC One and available on BBC iPlayer.
• Wreck, starring Amber Grappy, is coming to Hulu in the US from 1 March.
• Elinor Crawley and Daniel Millar will star in the UK tour of The Winston Machine, which begins on 2 March in Darlington.
• Carolyn Hartvigsen’s one woman show My Dead is showing at Barons Court Theatre on 3 and 4 March. The production began as Carolyn’s thesis project whilst training on the MA Classical Acting course.
• From 3 March, Cameron Johnson is starring in Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre.
• Daisy Jones & the Six premieres on Amazon Prime on 3 March, starring Sam Claflin.
• Nancy Carroll is set to star in the Menier Chocolate Factory’s production of Marjorie Prime, beginning with previews on 3 March.
• Jamie Bamber will be part of the cast of Beyond Paradise, with new episodes weekly on BBC One.
• Maddy Strauss is starring in Spur at the Vault Festival from 4 – 9 March.
• Relatively Speaking continues its UK tour this month at Malvern Theatre from 7 – 11 March, starring Anthony Eden and Olivia Le Andersen.
• Tina Tieno has written and is performing in Sacrifice at the Vault Festival from 7 – 10 March.
• From 7 – 9 March, Supernova is showing at the Vault Festival, written and performed by Rhiannon Neads and directed by Sally O’Leary. Rhiannon and Sally are creators of the comedy duo, Stiff & Kitsch.
• Holly Ellis is providing lighting design for Nothing on Earth during its tour from 8 March – 1 April.
• Invisible, produced as a LAMDA short film in 2021, is showing as part of Manchester Film Festival on 11 March. The short film stars Amy Darton and Alistair Nwachukwu and is written and directed by Gilbert Kyem Jnr.
• Anthony Lau is directing The Good Person of Szechwan, opening at Sheffield Theatre on 11 March 2023 before moving to Lyric Hammersmith from 15 April 2023. The production includes sound design by Alexandra Faye Braithwaiteand stars Tim Samuels, Jon Chew and 2022 graduate Ami Tredrea.
• Following a UK tour and West End run, David Suchet is to bring his show Poirot and More: a Retrospective to Hampstead Theatre. The production, celebrating Suchet’s stage and screen career, will run from 11 – 29 March.
• Stray Dogs, starring Abbey Gillett, is playing at Theatre503 from 14 March – 1 April.
• Danny Lee Wynter’s debut play Black Superhero opens at the Royal Court on 14 March, and plays until 29 April.
• From 17 March, Mischief Theatre’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong is playing on Broadway, featuring the original cast.
• William Robinson, Mercedes Assad and Matthew Bulgo star in the RSC’s production of Julius Caesar, which runs from 18 March – 8 April, followed by a UK tour from 20 April.
• Dillie Keane’s Songs My Mother Would Have Hated is showing at the Pheasantry in London from 24 – 27 March.

Things to look forward to

• Ruth Wilson is to star in the UK premiere of The Second Woman at the Young Vic in May.
• Filming for A Quiet Place: Day One has begun, starring Joseph Quinn.
• Watch the new trailer for The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry starring Jim Broadbent. The film is set to release on 28 April. 
• Hugh Coles is set to star in Dreamland, coming to Sky Max in 2023.
• Arsema Thomas will star in the Bridgerton sequel series, Queen Charlotte, arriving on Netflix on 4 May.
• From 24 July – 26 August, Samuel Barnett will be part of the cast for Rock Follies at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Latest news

• Sweet Beef Theatre – created by LAMDA graduates including Jess Haygarth, Angela Jones, Conor Dumbrell, Kathrine Payne, Jude Mack and Sarah Farrell – have become Associate Artists at the Pleasance Theatre. Watch their production of I Hate It Here running from 28 February – 11 March.
