This summer, LAMDA alumnus John Lithgow announced he will be joining the Genesis LAMDA Network as a mentor, lending his knowledge and expertise to an actor the year after they've graduated.

John, a supporter of the Academy, said of LAMDA: “It’s been 50 years since I attended LAMDA, but I’ve never done an acting job since where I didn’t put my LAMDA training to work. It was a wonderful time in my life but also a defining moment in my development as an actor.” John is the first of many US-based mentors in the network, as we continue to grow this valuable programme in the US as well as in the UK.
