Reggie is a New Yorker who also makes her home in London.  She is a Stanford graduate in journalism who travelled a lot and ended up in London writing for The Guardian and the Independent.  She began writing and sometimes narrating and producing documentaries for the BBC.

As a journalist, she regularly writes on travel, fashion and culture for Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveller and the Financial Times and contributes to BBC Radio’s From Our Own Correspondent. Reggie’s most beloved creation is the detective Artie Cohen, who first appeared in 1995 in Red Mercury Blues and has appeared in eight novels since.
